Oluwo calls for Establishment of Public Primary, Secondary Schools in Idenaland
The newly installed Oluwo of Idenaland, Iperu in Ikenne Local Government Area has requested for the establishment of public Primary and Secondary schools in Idenaland.
This was made known during an interview with Journalists in the community, while creating awareness on the matter, Leader Chief kolawole Onabanjo were of the opinion that there was the need for the establishment public primary and secondary schools in Idena community.
He expressed in displeasure as pupils in the community travel several kilometers before they could access education.
Chief Kolawole Onabanjo commended the Ogun State government for the completion of the agro cargo airport in Ikenne Local government, saying the development will not only expend economics activities in the area but also create jobs for the youth and reduce crime rates.
Chief Onabanjo lauded Prince Dapo Abiodun for this developmental initiatives, stating that the Governor has embarked on several laudable projects that have put smiles on the faces of the people. He therefore stressed the need for the establishment of public primary and secondary schools in his community.
He also spoke on the impact of the monarch in the community, pointing out that oba salami has passion for the radical transformation of his fatherland.
He added that the monarch has succeeded in building on the positive legacies of his predecessors in office through self help projects that have rewritten the history of the community.
He maintained that the Monarchy is an embodiment of humility for fast tracking the renovation of the palace, ensuring motorable road through regular grading and the provision of stomach infrastructures for the less privileged in the society.
Oluwo Idena preached on sanity in the African religion, pointing out that there should be discipline and shun any unpleasant activities. He said traditionalist should be united and always leverage on avaliable opportunity to ensure nation building.
He called for a synergy among other traditional worshipers so as to leave positive impression about the religion of our forefather towards creating a peaceful and progressive society.
He further pledged to use his good office to upscale the economic transformation of his fatherland and encourage other well meaning personalities who are indigenes of Idena to see to the progress of their fatherland.
Oluwo enjoined the entire people of Idena to extend maximum cooperation to the monarch, so that more lofty ideas would be conceptualised to take the Community to greater heights.
